Center Director: Kayla Buzzard
I am a Colorado Native, born and raised in Brighton Colorado with my 4 older brothers. I relocated when I received word that Hugo was opening a Learning Center. Most of my family lives on the eastern plains so to be given this opportunity to be closer to them is a blessing. My son Easton and I now live on the family ranch in Wild Horse, Colorado. I have worked in child care centers for 8 years as an infant, toddler, and preschool teacher. I also spent time as a curriculum coordinator before becoming the director at CLLC. I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and I am ECE Directors Certified. I am beyond excited to be a part of the CLLC family.
Infant Nursery Supervisor: Janice Roberts
I was born and raised on our family farm where I now live with my high school sweetheart and son Gavin. I have a degree in Human Development and Family studies. I have worked at the head start in Limon, but Im excited to work with infants providing our community with quality, safe childcare.
Assistant Infant Teacher: Valerie Clymer
I graduated High School from Genoa Hugo School in 2020. I have helped babysit for family and friends for many years. I am looking forward to expanding my education in Early Childhood. I am excited to grow with CLLC.
Lead Toddler Teacher: Shelly Bennett
I have worked with children for 13 years and have many Early Childhood Education classes from NJC. Teaching and caring for young children has always been a passion of mine and I have thrilled that Lincoln County has an amazing Learning Center for our youth.
Lead PreSchool Teacher: Jessi Rau
I have finished classes at Morgan Community College for my Early Childhood Lead Teacher certification. My husband and I moved to Limon from Texas and we had our amazing daughter McKenzie in 2018. I have always enjoyed working with children and I cant wait to be a part of CLLC's growth.
Lead PreSchool Teacher: Nancy Gonzalez
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I graduated with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I have worked at DPS in grades K-5. My husband Erik, Daughter Maribel and myself have lived in Limon since 2016 and we are LOVING the small town feel. I am excited to learn and grow with CLLC.
