Center Director: Nancy Gonzalez
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and my Masters in Culturally Linguistically Diverse Education. I have worked at DPS in grades Pre-K-5 and in a Goddard School. I am passionate about learning, children development and individual growth. As the Director I want to ensure an environment for my learners is safe, loving and supportive to all.
Infant Nursery Supervisor: Susan Mosher
I was born in Flagler, Colorado raised in Boyero. I received my Early Childhood Certification and have worked with children for more than 15 plus years. I have experience being an in-home day care provider and being a teachers assistance. I am delighted to be the infant teacher at CLLC because I want to love and support the infants as they grow.
Lead Toddler Teacher: Shelly Bennett
I was born in Hugo raised in Limon. I have worked with children for 13 years and have many Early Childhood Education classes from NJC. Teaching and caring for young children has always been a passion of mine. I am continuing my Education to get Director certified and learn how to apply new strategies with my Toddlers. I am thrilled to be the toddler teacher and show them a new perspective on life.
Lead Jr. Preschool Teacher: Lisa Carter
I was born and raised in Hugo, Colorado. I received my Early Childhood Certification, I have a lot of experience working with children including being an in-home day care provider and raising my 5 children. I am also a paramedic when needed through a medical company. I am ecstatic to be at CLLC to watch my students grow and prepare them for Preschool.
Lead PreSchool Teacher: Felicity (Angel) Clay
I was born in Canyon City an raised in Rocky Ford. I received my Bachelors in Fine Arts with a minor in Spanish. I have nannied and babysat for 4 plus years. I am going to continue my education in the Early Childhood Field to become Director certified and understand more about the growth and development of children. I am excited to be at CLLC and continue growing with my students and prepare them for Kindergarten.
Assistant Preschool Teacher: Amber Reed
I was born and raised in McKinney, Texas. I have lived in Colorado for 17 years. I am expanding my horizons by learning and being at CLLC. Along with my coworkers and students I am motivated to learn about the Early Childhood Field and potentially get a degree related to Early Childhood or Teaching in general. I am overjoyed to support students grow and prepare them for Kindergarten.
